Does anyone know the P.S.I. air pressure a 5 gallon PET bottle can take before it tears?

Does quality or workmanship standards exist for PET water bottles? Does anyone use procurement specifications to describe the quality or workmanship of a finished PET bottle? If such documents exist, where can I find them?
