I am looking it this old message and I am dissagree with:
1. Depend on the platform to use, noise level will still be at around 90DB
4. No such anything as Torque Pressure as it is Force!
The real advances are: ??? send me e-mail for communication!

1. PET brings down noise levels- 80-90 dB for glass vs. PET:25-30 dB
2. PET being lighter may require some grip or side rails for transport
3. If wall thickness is not uniform, or variation in bottle design - there is possibility of bottle buckling/collapsing at feedworm
4. Torque pressure for capping may reduce vis-a-vis glass
5. Filling line speed goes up by 20% in a comparative gravity filling system

Given an investment decision for a new bottling plant (1100 bottles per minute), what are the concerns and cost advantages/disadvantages with a PET packaging line versus traditional glass?
