Darker look compared to other preforms, Injection Molding (Machine)

Kenplas Forum ==> Injection Molding (Machine) ==> Darker look compared to other preforms

As a preform manufacturer, machine/mold setting should not be a problem.
Thus I am thinking:
1. Preforms are made of recycled PET;
2. Preforms are made of low grade PET.

I have two questions about PET Preforms:
1. Why are there dark flecks inside preform wall
2. Why would a preform from one manufacturer be darker(Smokey color) when compared with another?
