I have this for sale :

These PET-G rolls were made for a medical packaging application. The goods are PACUR and they are 6763 PET-G. I have lot numbers from PACUR, but I can’t certify it. The PET-G has been in my old customer’s warehouse for nearly 12 months, so while it is beautiful material and was (technically still is) FDA approved, I can’t certify it can be used for medical packaging anymore.

The PET-G is 50 mil thick. Heavy gauge stuff. Each roll is 16.75” wide, 535 feet long and weighs 240 lbs. There are 130 rolls, so we have 30,000 lbs of goods. They are on a 6” core and the roll is 22" in diameter. FOB Central USA.

1. Mostly neck crystalized preforms are used for hot fill purpose, but 30/25 neck is too weak to meet this purpose. Based on this, your question seems quite strange.

2. For hot fill bottle blow molding, the blowing machine should be modified: twice blowing should be supported.

3. Blow mold should be heated to approx. 130c while working.

We are looking for 30g 3025 neck finish cryatalize neck preform for our new bottle productions. We have a few questions & hope you can help us:-

1. Can we run our automatic stretch blow machine by using crystalize
neck preform ?
2. Where can we buy such csrystalize neck preforms?. Can you recommend
a few suppliers to us ?
3. What type of temperature setting most suitable needed to be set in
our blow machine for such preforms.

I have read your Q&A site and they are very good & nteractive for people like us. Thank you.

When using PETG in packaging, what resin code should be molded into the clam shell? Is it still a #1 with a PETG underneath? I've never seen this before an one of our factories wants to use PETG instead of PETE because they want to use the same heat sealing machine that they use with PVC packaging. Does this sound right to anyone?
