PP requires higher stretch ratio (Axial Stretch Ratio 2~4, commonly 3; Hoop Stretch Ratio 2.5~3.5) than PET; that is why PP preforms are more stubby;
PP has higher shrinkage rate than PET;
Core pin taper greater for PP than for PET.
