check the material feeding pipe also.
regrind material to be cleaned properly.
Once hopper to be cleaned fully. ie make the hopper empty and clean inside the hopper.

Black specks not seen in resin. What are the possible resin for black specks during processing of preforms and during blowing bottles if not seen in preforms.

1. Contamination within the pellets.
2. Improper purging materials or purging temperature.
3. Check overheating (band heaters).
4. Previous materials in the screw and barrel.
5. 25% or more recycled PET blended.


a) Pull and clean the screw and barrel.

b) Check for pits and excessive wear in barrel and on the screw.

c) Check screw non-return valve for hang-up areas.

d) Check nozzle and end cap for hang-up areas.
