There is an obvious differece in what the people think about this subject. Some say any time you melt PET, you decrease molecular weight and therefore bring IV somewhat down. Other say there are ways to increase IV either by pre-treatment of the flakes or post-treatment of PET repro pellets.
IV is the most critical issue for recycled PET used in bottle industry.
Please let me know your opinion.

Extruded PET is amorphous by mollecular structure means with low physycal properties.
