Send me pet screw design.
can i produce 5 gallon perform in normal type injection molding machine , and what shall i do if i do not have the special design screw , and what is the suitable grade of pet materials can i use to produce the 5 gallon pet weight of the preform is 700 gm . pls. advice
Can n you send me some pet screw designs please ???
Yes, any kind of preform is used to produce many size and design of bottles.
I REQUEST THAT ANYBODY CAN TELL ABOUT THE PREFORM DESIGN AND RELATION WITH BOTTLE DESIGN.CAN WE KEEP ONE PREFORM TO MAKE MANY DESIGN BOTLES.PLEASE REPLY
It is a request that i wanted to know the total design of petpreform and mould mfg.

We strongly recommend a distributive mix/melt feedscrew design when processing PET to achieve low acetaldehyde levels, high intrinsic viscosity, and good melting efficiency for high throughput rates. A distributive mix/melt feedscrew design should be selected as it achieves these objectives by using low shear stress with its unique design. We have provided these designs for many years with great success for processing PET.

There are many factors that dictate screw design for PET. Screw design for PET depends on shot capacity and residece time of the resin. Even though PET is considered to be a semicrystalline resin, it is shear sensitive. Excessive shear will increase the acetaldehyde levels. The let-down ratio in most PETs requires a higher compression ratio 3:1 than most general purpose screws offer. We also usually lengthen the transition section of the screw profile and deepen the channel depths to lessen the amount of shear we impart in the resin.
Because of the required melt quality and melt uniformity for most preforms, we recommend the use of a mixing screw. The mixing screw must be a low-shear design, allowing for good isothermal melt while limiting shear. Most important is knowing the residence time and designing the screw accordingly.
