Hi Dimitar:

I used a SS 420 for a mold to make facepieces, the problem with the metal is the acid that the PVC creates when is procesing for avoid problems with the metal you should use a acid vapor neutralizer product to apply in to the cavities every time that you shut down your mold. You can find a good acid vapor neutralizer for PVC in Slide products.

Hi everibody,
Can anyone tell me what alloys and steels should I use for blwomold for PVC, exept Br-Cu, because it's very expensive? And is it necessary some surface tretment?
