Hello. I am Having the same problem with my bottles, Did the advices help you? Which one?

Check clearance between base mold and stretching rod.

*decrease bottom segment temp
*increase stretch rod speed
*increase delay time before preblow
*check preform dimensions

We are getting leaks from the base of our blown bottles,random cavities. what they do have in common are.
* bead (preform tip) is off centre
* base is poorly formed
Have checked stretch rod alignment and adjusted base temperature settings but problem persists.
Any advice much appreciated
